The World Yachts Trophies 2026, held in September at the prestigious Carlton Cannes, brought together industry leaders, yacht builders, and enthusiasts to celebrate outstanding achievements in the world of yachting.
In the Best Exterior Design (14–18m) category, the BENETEAU Gran Turismo 50 claimed the prestigious award, standing out for its exceptional design, craftsmanship, and performance. This recognition highlights the Gran Turismo 50’s distinctive exterior design and its remarkable presence in the new generation of express cruisers.
Designed for cruising and time by the water
The new GT 50 measures 15.95 m overall, with a 4.48 m beam. Its main deck connects relaxation areas and walkways, while the open aft section offers a place to gather around the table close to the sea. The yacht is the work of Dixon Yacht Design and Andreani Design.
Volvo joystick control and an eco-drive system support handling. Below deck, the cabins combine calm colours, soft lighting and large windows. The images show the Alpine Edition; equipment and finishes for an individual yacht should be confirmed when ordering.
